Celebrate Canada Day Weekend at Horseshoe!

We’re celebrating on Saturday, June 29th, 2023! All our regular summer activities will be open daily, including Monday, July 1st.

Celebrate with us at Horseshoe! Break out your red and white clothing and accessories, and spend quality time with your friends and family outdoors!

In the case of rain, possible events will be moved indoors to the Alpine Room.

SaturDAY, JUNE 29th
11 AM – 8:30 PM Colouring Contest & Candy Guess Contest Can you guess the number of candies in our jar? If so, you might win the whole lot! The closest guess without going over will win the candy. All guests (young in age and young at heart) can colour to their hearts content. Find supplies and guessing ballots at the Tiki Hut. The cut off to enter the contests is 8:30pm on Saturday, with guesses and colouring sheets to be submitted to the Tiki Hut Staff. Must be present to win! Chance to win a pair of Mini Putt tickets or the Candy – winners announced at 8:45pm 11 AM – 9 PM – DJ Live Mixing Groove along to pop-rock beats on the Après Patio! 11 AM – 9 PM – Lawn Games Enjoy lawn games with the whole family! Make it a friendly competition or just for laughs – it’ll be a good time either way! Put your strength and aim in action for open games of fun in the sun! 1 PM – Annual Season Pass Scavenger Hunt (RAIN OR SHINE) Complete our Scavenger Hunt to explore the resort and take memorable photos at key resort highlights. Follow the clues around the resort for your chance to win a 5 Day \| 7 Night Season Pass for Winter 2024-2025 or an Anytime Nordic Season Pass. All participants of this scavenger hunt will begin at the same time – meet at Guest Services at 1pm sharp! 3 PM – Complimentary Canada Day Cake Bite into a slice of tasty cake – it’s free on Après Patio! Come on time – this is a top hit that disappears quickly! 4 PM – Cornhole Tournament Shoot your shot in a family-friendly competition on the Après Lawn. Chance to win a $25 gift card to Crazy Horse 9 PM – 9:45 PM – Sonshine & Broccoli Family Concert Dance and sing your heart out on the Après Lawn with songs written for the kids that the whole family can enjoy. Sonshine and Broccoli will be available until 10 PM for photos & autographs! 10 PM – Fireworks Show View the explosive spectacular from the Après Patio!
