Horseshoe Resort’s Golf Membership Protection Policy is based on a prorated calendar that offers members a credit/refund option when they provide appropriate documentation.
Below is the 2021 Golf Membership Protection Refund and Credit Schedule. To be considered for a credit/refund, customers must provide the following documentation in their request:
- Medical certificate
- Job relocation

Credit = gift card that can be used anywhere on site at Horseshoe Resort.
Steps to submitting your refund/credit request:
- An email request for credit/refund must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
- A dated Medical certificate from the Member’s doctor or treating physician is required.
- A letter from the Member’s HR department for relocation and for military service is required.
- Membership card must be returned to Guest Services before refund/credit is given.
2021 Golf Memberships will be deferred to the 2022 season if circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic prevent the golf course from opening. If the resort is required to close the golf course during the 2021 season due to government or provincial health restrictions surrounding COVID-19, a prorated credit towards a 2022 membership may be issued, depending on the timing of the resort closure. An update on the Golf Membership refund/credit policy will be provided at that time.
