Lake Horseshoe

Lake Horseshoe officially opened in August 2017 and has been a welcome addition to the resort! The lake brings swimming, a sandy beach and waterfront activities to resort guests and members. Relax on the beach, cool off in the water or grab a stand-up paddle board and go for a spin around the lake. Don’t forget to try out the giant water inflatable and trampoline–climb, jump and slide your way to non-stop fun! *Please note that the water inflatable and trampoline are unavailable until further notice

Learn how to wakeboard in our cable park–no boat required! Wakeboard cable systems are perfect for those who are new to the sport and even for those who are more experienced. The cable system pulls riders around the lake on a set track, allowing beginners to become comfortable on a wakeboard before they progress to boat riding. It’s a great way to learn how to wakeboard in a safe, fun and controlled environment and provides an ideal atmosphere for advanced riders to train and practice tricks. *Opening early – mid July

FUN FACT: Lake Horseshoe is beneficial to the resort all year round, adding 12 million gallons of water for snowmaking in the winter season!

IMPORTANT: In an effort to do our part to help contain the spread of COVID-19, we have made some changes to Lake Horseshoe operations. In order to limit the number of people at the lake and ensure physical distancing, Lake Horseshoe will no longer be free for non-resort guests, effective Wednesday July 8th, 2020.

Lake Horseshoe will remain free for overnight resort guests, Copeland House and Slopeside Condo Owners, Camp Horseshoe Members, Golf Members, Downhill Mountain Bike Season Pass Holders and Winter 2021/22 Season Pass Holders.

Non-resort guests will have the option of purchasing a Horseshoe Summer Season Pass, which will provide access to the beach, swimming, kayaks, paddle boards and mini putt for the entire summer. The lake inflatables and 1,000ft Slip & Slide will be added to the pass if/when the Ontario government allows us to open them. If you are interested in purchasing a Horseshoe Summer Season Pass, please visit Guest Services.

We hope that everyone will understand that these measures have been put in place in order to help protect our guests, team members and community. We want our guests to be able to enjoy the lake amenities safely and these measures will help ensure that is possible.
