Skier Cross and Boarder Cross Teams

Horseshoe’s Alpine Team programs are geared towards youth and children who are committed to a minimum of 2 days per week training (Sat/Sun) in Slalom, Giant Slalom, Super G, Downhill and Ski Cross. This is in preparation for a competition schedule that is both age appropriate and fun in volume, complexity and progression. Both teams primarily train at Horseshoe and attend both home and away races (all race dates and locations are not announced by AOA until closer to the start of the race season). All team athletes are required to have a signed Alpine Ontario waiver and pay the required AOA fees/entry fees. Visit Alpine Ontario (AOA) for more information. Extra training is available for those competing at an even higher level.

This 9 week Team Program begins January 6 and runs until Sunday March 4th. The Team Program fee also includes Club Championships on March 4, 2018 (please note that coaches will be in attendance during Club Championships to facilitate the athletes by assisting with course inspection and race starts only; these are not training days). The athletes ticket to attend the Year End Banquet on March 4, 2017 is also included in Program fees.

A valid lift ticket or season pass is required for all program dates. A snowsports specific helmet with hard ears is mandatory for all competition program participants and must meet all FIS guidelines.
