On February 20, 2026, join Canadians nationwide as we celebrate National Ski & Snowboard Day! This year, the Canadian Ski Council and the Canadian Mental Health Association are teaming up to spotlight one powerful message: moving in winter boosts your mind and your mood.
From carving turns to quick moments of outdoor movement, every bit counts. Together, we’re championing Winter Moves You—a coast-to-coast push to stay active, stay connected, and feel the winter wellness.

Ways You Can Participate
Guests, staff, and communities can take part in whatever way feels comfortable:
- Grab a group & do the Push-Up Challenge: Ski school groups, patrol, staff teams, ski clubs, athletes, and community groups can join from anywhere!
- Winter Movement Moments: Take a moment to move, stretch and breathe in the fresh air anywhere safely outdoors!
- Share a Group Photo on the Hill: Snap a picture and use the official hashtags + mention @horseshoeresort for your chance to win prizes
- Donate: Directly support the Canadian Mental Health Association
