Our Advanced Downhill Bike Camp is specially crafted for young enthusiasts aged 6-12 with a passion for the thrill of the descent. This camp is perfect for riders who are already confident on their bikes and have some trail experience but are eager to master the adrenaline-pumping challenges of downhill biking.

Through expert-led skills sessions, engaging riding games, and ample trail riding opportunities, our instructors will elevate your child’s skills, boosting their confidence to tackle more demanding terrain and prepare them for the thrill of downhill riding.

Although, racing isn’t this camps main focus, interested participants can get a glimpse at the competitive side of downhill biking, including track walks and race simulations, ensuring an unforgettable adventure that pushes their limits and hones their skills.

All Camp instructors are certified by PMBIA at a minimum of Level 1

 

Lunch Program Add-On | $75

No time to pack lunches? No problem! Sign up for our lunch program. Campers in the lunch program will receive a morning and afternoon snack and lunch each day of camp. An example day of lunch and snacks could look like:

Snack and Lunch Menu

  • AM Snack: Veggies and Dip
  • Lunch: Cheese Pizza, Granola Bar, Juice Box
  • PM Snack: Chips

REQUIREMENTS

Age

This camp is intended for kids between ages 6 and 12.

Equipment

BikeAll participants are required to have a mountain bike with front and rear brakes, knobby tires, and full suspension. The bike must be in proper working condition. 

Protective Equipment – All riders are required to have a full-face helmet, knee and elbow pads. Chest armour, goggle or glass and gloves are recommended.

Please note, this is an only example. Schedule may change day to day and week to week, based on the skill level of the group, weather, etc.

8:00am – 8:30am Drop off and get ready to ride

8:30am -10:00am Warm up cross country ride in the Copeland Forest or Skills Park session

10:00am – 10:30am Snack Break

10:30am – 12:00pm Morning downhill session

12:00pm – 12:30pm Lunch Time

12:30pm – 2:00pm Afternoon downhill session

2:00pm – 2:30pm Snack Break

2:30pm – 3:30pm Other mountain bike games, activities or riding

3:30pm – 4:00pm Pick up

 


IMPORTANT DETAILS

  • This Program includes a Lift Ticket for the days your child is in camp.
  • Rental Mountain Bikes are not included in this program, however are available for rent separately. Please see further equipment requirements below.
  • Bike Camp is for those aged 6-12 who already know how to ride a bike and are looking to improve their downhill mountain biking skills.
  • Lunch Add-On is available for camp at $75 (exclusive of taxes & fees) and must be purchased separately.
  • Mountain Bike camp is non-refundable.
