Cross Country Biking

The Copeland Forest trails are great for exploring nature at a more leisurely pace with less decline. There are some trails that have hills through the natural landscape but it’s time to put pedal to the forest floor as there are no chair lifts on the North side of Horseshoe Resort. These trails are great for all ages and abilities. The trails weave through the trees where our fat biking, Nordic Ski and snowshoe trails are located in the winter months.

Don’t have your own equipment? No problem! We have a limited number of bike and equipment rentals available so you can explore the Copeland Forest cross country trails!

We offer rentals for adults and kids in three hour time slots – plenty of time for a great trail adventure! We recommend reserving a bike in advance of your visit. A pass is not required to access the cross country trails. Norco bike rentals will be available at our Bike Shop in the Main Chalet at the base of the downhill slopes. Helmets are included within the rental price; Helmets are mandatory for bikers of all ages.

Not familiar with the trails? Take a guided ride with one of our experienced staff!
